HWC Coffee - The Curve

The hot matcha latte was good to a non-matcha lover. Matcha frappe tasted abit powdery, but it still tastes nice. Love the atmosphere and furniture~ The only complaint I have were the Sandwhiches. The bread was abit too hard.

Ordered Mint Chocolate Frappe and was amazed by how good it tasted! However, cream was added even though I had requested not to have them added. Perhaps I can overlook it as a human error due to the influx of customers at the time. Overall a good experience.

Its good coffee for most people, just for someone obsess with beans freshness, origin, brew timing and etc, it may not meet your expectations. And thats not a bad thing, theres a large demand for average coffee drinkers that wants just a good coffee, especially those that is beyond just milk and espresso. One method that inspired me was ordering their ice latte, despite being cold, they still froth the milk, and that made quite a difference. They also offer pastries to enjoy along side your drink. A chill place, a great place to hang out or do work.

I enjoyed the calm and clean environment. The staff is friendly and the service is great, I ordered hot Rose café latte which the coffee has strong bitter taste but I don’t taste the rose syrup and Hazelnut latte was decent; my partner order Iced Dalgona Nutty Café latte which was okay.

Very beautiful interior, super cool cups (look the photo) and pleasant atmosphere. I will try pastries next time for sure.

Minimalistic black and white cafe. Really enjoyed having a coffee and pastries here. Service was quick and staffs were friendly. Heres what I recommend: BROWN SUGAR BUBBLE CAFFE LATTE. A coffee take on a boba tea. Their specialty drink and my favorite drink to order here! The coffee is nutty and quite strong. The brown sugar cuts the bitterness down but isn’t super sweet either. MATCHA LATTE. Really great non coffee alternative. Their matcha is one of my favorite in Brunei as it doesn’t have the leafy bitter taste. AGLIO OLIO. Really nice buttery pasta with prawn bits. Its a little bit spicy from the cut chilis. Would recommend to order. BEEF PIE. Really buttery pastry with a load of beef and veges inside. The beef was so soft and flavorful. One of the few delicious beef pies I’ve tasted. Overall, love the vibes and food here. Will come back to order their other drinks, pastries and food.

It surprisingly had a good pasta! The coffee and desserts are really good but for the coffee it had a generic taste. The place had a very clean and good vibes to hang and chill with friends.
